Setup help

Know what you need before you install.

Check the essentials, choose sensible hardware for your workload and use a sample workbook to confirm your setup.

Compatibility first

Required foundations vs recommended setup.

The required column describes what the software depends on. The recommended column gives practical headroom for comfortable work; it is not a requirement to buy a new computer.

Recommendations are workload guidance, not tested performance thresholds. Exact Assist Pro-supported Windows/Excel versions, 32/64-bit combinations and minimum hardware still need release testing. Ask us to confirm your combination if you are unsure. Mac, web Excel, Windows on ARM and virtual desktops are not advertised as validated Assist Pro setups here.
