Know what to expect.
Is Anywhere only for Excel?
No. It runs as a separate Windows application. It can work alongside File Explorer, PDFs, webpages and other Windows applications, with some tools offering Excel exports.
Can Web Capture collect information outside normal tables?
Yes. Its modes include sections, label/value blocks, ordinary text, repeating records, links, images, accessible HTML tables and page-level capture. Results depend on webpage structure and permissions. Canvas-rendered content, cross-origin iframes or virtualised elements can limit what it can detect.
Does Web Capture require an AI API?
No AI key is required for its current selection and rule-based custom-field workflow. You still need to inspect the structure before extraction.
What if my Screen Math amounts are wrong?
Use Drill Down to inspect and correct values. Accounting-style brackets are interpreted as negative values when recognised, but OCR can still misread digits or separators.
Does Space always open File Preview?
Space is configurable and applies in File Explorer when enabled. Shortcut conflicts, installed preview components and file formats can affect results. Check Preview & Capture settings and the current selected file.
What if Smart Transfer starts sending the wrong inputs?
Press Esc or use STOP NOW. Always test one field and confirm your destination before starting a long run.
Can I get a guaranteed accurate Excel table from every PDF?
No. Complex layouts, scanned pages and inconsistent bank statements can cause misalignment or OCR errors. Verify extracted dates, descriptions, signs and totals against the source.
How are subscriptions and downloads handled?
Anywhere is coming soon. The full-feature trial lasts 14 days. Full access costs R79/month, R49/month for Assist Pro+ users, or R399 once-off for lifetime access. Installer, trial activation and purchase links will open at launch.
