1. Purpose
Assist Pro is designed to save time, automate repetitive work and assist with analysis. It is not a substitute for professional judgement, source-document verification or required review procedures.
2. Before running automation
Keep a backup or work on a copy when using tools that can change workbook or file content.
Confirm the selected workbook, worksheet, range, files and parameters before running a tool.
Review formulas, macros, mappings, classifications and outputs before saving over important data.
Confirm totals, record counts and other control information after material transformations.
3. Audit, accounting and tax work
Assist Pro may help organise, analyse or document information, but it does not issue an audit opinion, perform management’s responsibilities, certify compliance or determine that work meets a professional standard. The user or responsible professional remains accountable for the work performed and conclusions reached.
4. AI-assisted features
AI output can contain mistakes, invented information or unsuitable recommendations.
Check important facts and calculations against reliable source information.
Do not rely on AI alone for high-impact professional, legal, financial, tax, employment or regulatory decisions.
Only submit confidential, client or personal information where you are authorised and the selected processing method is suitable.
Where a user connects an external AI service, the user must also comply with that service’s terms, privacy rules and charges.
5. Prohibited use
Unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
Attempting to bypass licensing, access controls or security restrictions.
Uploading information you have no right to use or disclose.
Using Assist Pro to introduce malicious code, interfere with systems or infringe intellectual-property rights.
Presenting an automated or AI-generated result as independently verified when it has not been reviewed.
